Origin Laser service Now offering a high quality, value for money Laser Cutting and Engraving service in Australia. Small jobs welcome! We can cut ply up to 6-8mm thick and plastics or acrylic up to 12mm. We can NOT cut metal however we can Engrave onto stainless steel, aluminum and painted/coated metals.
Pricing We process various production runs, our minimum charge is based on set up fee and run time specific your job. plus materials as required.
Files Need to be drawn as a Vector (traced outline drawing-more info. available online) you can use separate color layers to specify which layer is to be cut and which is to be engraved ie: Black = cut Blue = engrave.
Quotes We must have a final vector file to scale 1:1 exactly as you wish to see it output, generally can not edit files and don’t give ball park figures as we just load acceptable files into our laser software and it tells us the run time from there.
Our service Set up to output great value, high quality results, as based on the online process we generally don’t develop concepts or designs just run whats is ready to go.

If we can do the job we will get a quote and lead time back to you as soon as we are able load your file request.
Turn around Generally 3-5 business days from receiving the go ahead & your materials or to supply material and run the job.
Note- turn around can be longer depending on specific production/volume requests. Please advise of any specific deadlines.
Cutting Capabilities
Max Laser Cut Size: 1,200mm X 900mm (machine is 1200mm wide with a pass through table able to cut longer sheets than 900mm if required). Thickness varies depending on material but as a guide we can cut Plywood up to 6mm (Laser ply preferred) and Acrylic/Perspex up to 12mm.
